Day 1 - Disconnections
Several hours of removing the hood, disconnecting hoses, and unplugging wiring.

Day 2 - Removal
Removal of radiator, exhaust, driveshaft, subframe, steering box, and finally, lowering the engine out of the car.

Day 3 - Cleaning
Cleaning the dirty, filthy, messy parts. Separating the Tranny, and sending it out for a rebuild.
|
Day 4 - More Cleaning
More cleaning of dirty parts. Power washing the engine compartment.
|
Day 10 - Engine Prep
The rebuilt transmission returns and is attached to the new engine. Engine prep work continues.
|
Days 12 to 35 - New Engine
Hoisting the new engine & transmission into the car. Reattaching the cleaned subframe, new driveshaft, exhaust, suspension. Reattaching hoses & wiring. Car comes down off ramps. Waiting for parts. Clean and attach Intakes. More hoses. New plugs. New radiator. All new fluids.
